Discovered in 1899, the Padirac chasm has become one of France’s most cherished natural treasures. This year, the chasm renews the theatrical experience on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of Jules Verne’s iconic novel, *Journey to the Center of the Earth*. In May 2024, an immersive play already captivated over 200 spectators during the site’s inauguration. “We have received numerous requests, and we are ready to renew the experience on May 8 and 9, 2025,” proclaims Arnaud Bamvens, the operations manager. Nighttime walks are highlighted here. With the “Explorer Evenings”, visitors will have the chance to experience a boat crossing illuminated by lantern light.
