The airline easyJet recently announced the opening of a new route between the airport of London Luton and the vibrant Egyptian capital, Cairo. Scheduled to start this winter, this new route will operate throughout the year.
A First for easyJet #
This is the first time that easyJet will serve Cairo, which is one of the largest and most iconic cities in North Africa. With this addition, easyJet reaches the milestone of 157 destinations in its short-haul flight network covering Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Flight Details and Schedules #
The first flight will take off on October 31. Flights will be scheduled three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, providing a direct connection throughout the year for UK customers.

EasyJet’s new destination is undoubtedly one of the most renowned in the world. Cairo is famous for iconic sites such as the Pyramids of Giza, THE Sphinx and the Nile. The city is also home to hundreds of palaces, mosques and museums, as well as bustling bazaars where shopping is a real adventure.
