On the Catalan coast, the first campsites are opening their doors to welcome vacationers during the Easter holidays. The bungalows, carefully prepared to offer optimal comfort, are already occupied by campers who appreciate the quality of the infrastructure and the activities offered. This start to the tourist season looks promising, with a friendly atmosphere and summer animation projects that suggest a wonderful season ahead.
The first vacationers on the Catalan coast #
At the Saint-Cyprien municipal campsite, located near Perpignan in the Pyrénées-Orientales, the excitement is palpable. Preparations are ongoing to welcome the first tourists from zone B. About a hundred campers, like Maryline and Jean-Luc, are already settled in, expressing their satisfaction with the quality of the campsite’s amenities. They also highlight the importance of finding an accessible vacation spot during this period, emphasizing the reasonable rates offered.

The bungalows: a choice of comfort #
The bungalows provide a pleasant setting to enjoy nature while benefiting from modern comforts. Each unit is designed to accommodate families and groups of friends, allowing them to share unforgettable moments. Vacationers can enjoy a comfortable living space while being close to various campsite facilities, such as the pool, sports fields, and landscaped green spaces.
Activities and entertainment within the campsite #
To enhance the stay of vacationers, the campsite has hired Matéo, a new activities manager, who is excited about leading the season. Activities such as soccer, handball, and pétanque will be offered. Matéo shows great motivation, hoping that campers will join him to practice these outdoor sports. “You have to be both relaxed and dynamic to inspire people to participate in these disciplines,” explains the young man.
A commitment to sustainable development #
In a context of water restrictions imposed by a prefectural decree, this campsite invested in water recycling systems last summer. Thanks to a reverse osmosis filtration system, it manages to nearly completely recycle the water used for pool cleaning. Currently, the campsite recycles 20 m³ of water per day, representing a significant advancement in reducing water consumption while ensuring quality infrastructure for vacationers.
A promising summer on the Catalan coast #
With a capacity to host 2400 people during peak season, the Saint-Cyprien municipal campsite currently shows 50% occupancy for early July. This figure is encouraging, as it reflects a growing interest in outdoor vacations on the Catalan coast. The Easter holidays thus mark the beginning of a summer season that promises rich moments of sharing and discovery for vacationers.
