Chef Ram Kishore started his career in catering for a cricket team in Chandigarh before joining the prestigious Marriot ITC in Delhi. His journey took him to London where he launched a food manufacturing business, supplying high-end restaurants across the city, including his own Tokri. It is with such a rich history that he intends to share his passion for traditional kitchen and contemporary of India.

Atmosphere and decor #

As soon as you enter Tokri, you are immediately seduced by its atmosphere modern And welcoming. The lights, inspired by sneakers reversed, add a touch of creativity to an already charming setting. The star of the chef, the lamb Champaram Ghosht, is cooked on the bone, imbued with intense flavors thanks to its marinade in a pot with mustard oil, garlic and tomatoes. For my part, I opted for the butter chicken, exquisite combination of Chicken Tikka with cashew nuts and tomatoes, accompanied by peshwari naan for a perfect wedding.

Although the Anguri Rasmala caught my attention, it’s the chocolate samosa which won the prize: a delicately fried dough, coated with chocolate and stuffed with chocolate cream. Each bite is an explosion of flavors that nicely concludes this feast.
