On July 1st, the small municipality of Seyssel experienced a real turning point with the opening of the Health House and the Tourist Office. These modern infrastructures, inaugurated in the presence of local stakeholders, are set to transform the medical and tourism landscape of the region, thus providing new life to daily living and local development.
A Health House to meet the needs of the population #
The Health House of Seyssel spans an area of 320 square meters, housing a total of ten medical offices. This ambitious project was carried out by the Community of Communes Usses and Rhône in collaboration with property developer Teractem. Its main objective is to create an environment conducive to healthcare, although, at its opening, the search for general practitioners remains a challenge to be addressed.
Modern facilities serving health
Designed to accommodate various healthcare professionals, this new structure represents an ideal space for various medical roles, thus fostering networking. Even though no doctor has yet settled in, the Health House will remain an important response to the population’s expectations, gradually adding services to its offerings.
The Tourist Office: A showcase for the Seyssel area #
Alongside the Health House, the Tourist Office has been inaugurated, signaling a strong commitment to highlight the heritage and natural attractions of the municipality. This new space will serve as an information point for visitors, providing easy access to resources available for exploring the beauty and richness of the region.
A new breath for local tourism
The initiative of the Tourist Office fits within a logic of energizing the territory. It will be tasked with promoting activities, events, and points of interest in Seyssel, thus encouraging tourists to discover the municipality and its surroundings. The inauguration of this office is an important step towards the development of a sustainable tourism that respects the environment while being beneficial for the local economy.

A significant impact on local life #
These two structures, by interconnecting, should significantly improve the quality of life for the residents of Seyssel. The Health House is designed to meet the healthcare expectations of the population, while the Tourist Office will play a key role in attracting new visitors and highlighting local resources.
The official handover of the keys for the two buildings, which took place on April 26th, was a significant moment of sharing and commitment for the future. Additional projects, such as the rehabilitation of old structures and the establishment of modern communication tools, will support this new momentum, thereby strengthening the social and economic fabric of Seyssel.
