Transforming Travel: ALL and SNCF Collaborate on Innovative Approach to Enhance Passenger Experience

Discover how the alliance between ALL and SNCF Connect is revolutionizing the traveler experience with an innovative approach!

Merger of two tourism giants

May 15, 2024 marks a key date for all lovers of travel and discovery. Two titans of the French tourism sector, Accor and SNCF Connect, have joined forces to offer an even more seamless and integrated accommodation and transport booking experience. This collaboration promises major benefits for travelers, by simplifying procedures and offering tailor-made options, adapted to each need.

A story of cooperation revisited

This alliance is not the first between Accor and SNCF. Twenty years earlier, the Train+Hotel service already allowed travelers to book their train tickets and accommodation simultaneously. However, this service ended in December 2021. Today, the partnership is reborn with an even more digital and accessible approach, thanks to the integration of Accor’s ALL platform on the SNCF Connect web and mobile environments.

Multiple benefits for travelers

Using this new interface, users can book their train ticket then, in a few clicks, find and reserve accommodation among the 3,000 Accor hotels available in Europe, including 1,700 in France. From budget hotels to luxury establishments, every traveler will be able to find the option that suits them best.

To further enhance the experience, members of the ALL loyalty program will benefit from preferential rates, simplified bookings and various benefits such as upgrades and late check-outs.

A commitment to sustainable mobility

This collaboration is not only focused on the comfort of the traveler. It is part of a sustainable mobility approach by encouraging the use of rail transport, thus reducing the carbon footprint of travel. Accor and SNCF share a common vision: integrating travel in its entirety, by offering sustainable and responsive solutions.

How does it work in practice?

At the end of a train ticket reservation on SNCF Connect, users will see a “Much more than train” insert appear. By clicking on it, they will be directed to the ALL platform, where they can finalize their accommodation reservation. Everything is designed to make the experience simple and intuitive.

In addition, a test phase will begin on May 22 to allow users of the ALL platform to book their train tickets directly after booking their hotel room, thus making travel even more integrated.

Promising future prospects

The partnership between ALL and SNCF Connect is an evolving project. In the future, it will be possible to pay for hotel reservations with “Reward points” from ALL members. Both companies are also working to constantly enrich the service ecosystem to meet the ever-changing needs of modern travelers.

Travelers can therefore expect regular innovation and continuous improvement in their booking experiences. The shared ambitions of Accor and SNCF Connect aim to promote a more fluid, sustainable and connected way of traveling.

A journey reimagined

This new collaboration between ALL and SNCF Connect is much more than a simple partnership. It represents a revolution in the way we plan and experience our travels. By offering perfect integration between transport and accommodation, it simplifies the lives of travelers and offers them more comfort and flexibility. Don’t wait any longer, explore this new way of traveling today and prepare for a unique experience!
