In a return filled with wonder, about thirty seniors from the village of Serres-sur-Arget had the opportunity to travel to Uzbekistan. This journey, which took place in September, immersed them in a rich culture and a breathtaking diversity of landscapes. Between mystical deserts and historical cities, this adventure left memories etched in their minds, illuminated by the stars of the Uzbek sky.

Uzbekistan is a true living canvas where landscapes of great diversity meet. From the green valley of Fergana, renowned for its lush gardens and textile artisans, to the arid and mysterious expanses of the Kyzylkum Desert, the scenery is in perpetual evolution. Each landscape tells a story and reveals ancient secrets, which our seniors were able to appreciate in all their splendor.

The Kyzylkum Desert is known for its breathtaking landscapes and starry nights, offering adventurers an unforgettable experience. Our seniors had the chance to spend nights under a sky dotted with bright stars, a memorable experience that transcends the mundane. The tales shared around a campfire, accompanied by the sounds of the desert, fostered strong bonds and created eternal memories.

Beyond the landscapes, Uzbekistan is rich in ancient cities that testify to a rich history. From Bukhara to Khiva, passing through historical caravansaries, each stage of their journey was an opportunity to delve into the tumultuous past of this land, where caravans traveled along the Silk Road. To spice up their exploration, a camel caravan allowed our seniors to get closer to nature and experience a unique moment.
