From October 22 to 24, the teenagers from the Youth Space had the opportunity to experience a memorable adventure in Spain. Accompanied by three leaders, they embarked on a stay rich in sensations and discoveries. Between thrilling rides, go-kart races, and exploration of surrealist art, every moment was an opportunity to create unforgettable memories. This trip perfectly illustrates the spirit of adventure and camaraderie that drives the Youth Space, conducive to meaningful and enriching experiences.
An early departure to Spain #
On October 22 at 7 a.m., fifteen young people aged 11 to 17 from the Youth Space took to the road in two minibuses. Excitement was palpable as the group moved away from the French borders, heading towards Port Aventura in Catalonia. Laughter and good humor resonated in the vehicles, promising a journey full of discoveries and strengthened friendships. Once they arrived on site, with their luggage dropped off, the adventure really began.
An experience full of thrills #
The following two days were filled with exciting activities. The young people had the chance to experience the thrills of the roller coasters that overlook the amusement park. Laughter erupted during the splashdowns and captivating shows that held their attention. A memorable moment was the group descent of the Tutuki Splash, where splashes and bursts of laughter captured the essence of this collective experience. These moments of sharing created unbreakable bonds among the teenagers.
The thrills of go-karting #
The next morning, the group headed to the famous Salou go-karting, one of the largest complexes of its kind in Europe. The 1,800-meter track provided the young people the opportunity to don their helmets and face off in good humor. Divided into two groups by age, these wild races were the perfect chance to release adrenaline and share laughs. Cheers and jokes echoed throughout the races, adding a touch of humor to the competitions.
Artistic exploration in Figueras #
After these thrilling adventures, the teenagers had the immense privilege of visiting the Salvador Dalí museum in Figueras. Immersed in the surrealist universe of this master, they were able to admire fascinating and unusual works. Some captured these moments through photos, thus illustrating their interest in art and culture. This excursion added an educational dimension to their stay, highlighting the importance of cultural activities within the projects offered by the Youth Space.

A return full of memories and future projects #
With heads full of rich and varied memories, the young people returned home, delighted with their adventure. Each participant retained strong moments, shared laughter, and enriching discoveries. But the adventure doesn’t stop there. Excited by their experience, discussions have already begun about the next ski trip which will take place from February 24 to 28, 2025, in Formiguères, in the Pyrenees. The teenagers from the Youth Space look forward to getting together to experience a new adventure together.
