A Journey Rich in Discoveries #

On the agenda for this trip, the students will have the chance to explore iconic places in Milan. The visit to the cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, promises to be a highlight. The students will also be able to marvel at the breathtaking landscapes of Lake Como, a favored spot that inspires many artists. Additionally, a guided tour of the prestigious Scala theater will give them a fascinating insight into the backstage of this renowned cultural space. Each step of this journey is designed to enrich their general culture and strengthen their passion for the arts and commerce.

A Rewarding Collective Preparation #

To fund their trip, the students are mobilizing and showing great creativity. In close collaboration with their teachers, they have set up various activities. The students from the business section organized a raffle, collecting numerous prizes that will attract the public. The colorful posters created by the students to promote this event are a testament to their involvement. Among the prizes are gift vouchers, gift baskets, as well as surprises for children, topped off with an enticing grand prize: a Marshall speaker. Each raffle ticket is sold for €2, making participation accessible to all.

Handmade Creations for the Local Market #

The students in the fashion design section are also active. Every Wednesday afternoon, they meet to craft original items featuring floral patterns. Three main products attract attention: pouches, makeup removal pads in a pouch, and elegant card holders. These creations, made with passion, will be sold during their appearances at the Gourdon market on several occasions: November 9 and 23, as well as December 14. The sale of these handmade items not only serves as a source of funding but also provides the students with a means to showcase their craftsmanship.

A Solidarity and Local Approach #

Léo Ferré High School and its students are also making their presence felt in several shops in the area. Raffle tickets are available for sale in stores in Gourdon, Cahors, Saint-Germain-du-Bel-Air, and other surrounding localities. Furthermore, for each fashion accessory sold with a raffle ticket, an extra ticket is given, encouraging generosity and solidarity. This initiative strengthens the bond between the high school and the local community, creating a wave of support around this collective project.
