IN BRIEF
|
The Vosges reveal themselves in a new light thanks to an innovative scheme: the Pass Vosges. Offering residents and visitors the opportunity to discover the region at very attractive prices, this free pass highlights the gastronomy, culture, and various local entertainment activities. Launching in January 2025, this initiative aims to boost tourism while enhancing the appeal of this beautiful French department.
A scheme designed for everyone #
Intended for both tourists and residents of Vosges, the Pass Vosges aims to facilitate access to a wide range of activities. Presented at a press conference, this scheme was developed in collaboration with local tourist offices, thus illustrating a common desire to optimize the visitor experience by introducing them to exceptional sites at a reduced price.
Encouraging the discovery of tourist sectors #
According to project leaders, the challenge is not limited to the traditional snow sector that characterizes Vosges. Franck Perry, vice-president delegated to tourism, emphasizes that the Pass Vosges will promote a more comprehensive approach by highlighting other strengths of the region, such as forestry, sporting activities, well-being, thermalism, and cultural heritage.
Partnerships to enrich the experience #
To ensure the success of this project, players in Vosges tourism collaborate with many partner companies. By multiplying discounts and benefits, the Pass Vosges aims to encourage the discovery of new places and activities. Benefits such as welcome gifts, appetizers, or complimentary coffees are highlighted, further enriching the experience of visitors.
An initiative in full expansion #
The project, whose launch is imminent, is already attracting the attention of numerous local businesses, with more than 112 partners currently engaged. Although the beginnings of this initiative are promising, its vice-president hopes to attract even more providers in the near future. Places like Fraispertuis and the Gourmet Bistro are already signed up, but over time, other partners may join the adventure.

A two-year operational period #
The Pass Vosges will be valid for two years starting from January 2025. Distributed through about ten Vosges tourist offices, this scheme aims to ensure that as many people as possible can benefit. By combining accessibility and a diversity of activities, this initiative aims to be a true lever for promoting sustainable tourism and enriching the cultural and recreational offerings of the region.
