The 2025 school calendar has its share of surprises and dates to remember for families. School holidays, public holidays, and other significant events are essential for planning vacations or organizing schedules. This article offers an overview of key information not to miss for the 2025 school year.

Winter holidays: a staggered first departure #
Winter holidays are always a highly anticipated time for students and their families. For the year 2025, these holidays will be particularly interesting due to the distribution of dates according to school zones. The B zone will be the first to benefit from its holidays, which will take place from February 8 to February 24. It will be followed by C zone, whose holidays will extend from February 15 to March 3. Finally, students in A zone will have to wait until February 22 to go on holiday, with their break ending on March 10.
Easter holidays: an additional day off for zone B #
During the Easter holidays, a gap will also be felt between the different school zones. The B zone will start its holidays from April 5, and it will be able to enjoy an extra day off thanks to Easter Monday, which falls on April 21. Thus, these students will return to class on Tuesday, April 22, while zones A and C will continue their holidays, respectively from April 19 to May 5 and from April 12 to April 28.
Public holidays: a glimpse of upcoming long weekends #
The 2025 school calendar also offers its share of public holidays suitable for extended weekends. For C zone, the public holiday for Labor Day will be celebrated on May 1, which falls on a Thursday. This configuration will allow for a long weekend. However, A zone will not be able to enjoy it in the same way, as this public holiday will coincide with its spring school holidays. All students, regardless of their zones, will have the chance to enjoy a three-day weekend linked to the Armistice of 1945 on May 8 and to the following Pentecost Monday on June 9.
Summer holidays: a common departure for all #
The highlight of the school year remains the start of the summer holidays. In 2025, all students will begin their holidays from Saturday, July 5, marking the end of the school year. Students will have to wait until September 1 to return to school after a well-deserved summer break.

All Saints’ holidays and autumn public holidays #
In the fall, the All Saints’ public holiday, which falls on a Saturday, November 1, will be added to the school holidays for All Saints’, which will extend from October 18 to November 2. The Armistice on November 11, which will take place on a Tuesday, will be outside these holidays. Once again, attention should be paid to these dates in order to better organize vacations.
Christmas holidays: a festive end of the year #
Finally, the Christmas period, which will fall on a Thursday, December 25, will be in the middle of the Christmas school holidays. These holidays, for all zones, will begin from December 21 and end on January 5, giving students the opportunity to enjoy the end-of-year festivities.
