IN BRIEF
|
Last January, the Moto Club Tourisme 2000 held its general assembly, revealing a favorable dynamic for the coming year. With an increase in memberships and a strong desire to organize attractive events, this club is attracting more and more enthusiasts eager to share their love for motorcycles and adventure.
A new direction for a promising future
Since the beginning of 2024, the Moto Club Tourisme 2000 has embarked on a new chapter under a renewed team. This reorganization comes after a turbulent period that had put the association at risk. The president, Joël Gonçalves, is optimistic and emphasizes that this observation year has borne fruit, with a significant increase in memberships, rising from 43 to 78 members.
Activities to appeal to all bikers
The riding activities remain the beating heart of the club. Members wish to see a quarterly schedule of Sunday rides emerge, as well as weekday trips, in response to growing demand. Motorcycle enthusiasts will thus be able to explore new horizons in groups, strengthening the bonds among bikers.
Aspiring projects for the summer
The club members do not intend to stop there. They plan to organize one or two multi-day trips when the nice weather arrives. These getaways will be offered at an affordable price to allow as many people as possible to participate in these memorable experiences on the road.
A mobilization for charitable causes
The Moto Club Tourisme 2000 is not limited to rides. Wishing to contribute to charitable actions as well, members have expressed their desire to participate in the Téléthon in a creative and engaging manner. It’s not just about riding, but about combining passion and solidarity, strengthening the biker community beyond simple outings.
An active and committed board
To carry out these projects, a board has been elected, headed by president Joël Gonçalves, in collaboration with treasurer Ghislaine Faure and secretary Jean-Paul Faure. Together, they are working to energize the club and create a welcoming environment for both former members and those wishing to join this motorcycle adventure.
