Unforgettable dance moments #
Among the activities offered, Brazilian dances are in the spotlight. On Saturday, February 15, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the vibrant energy of Afro-Brazilian dances, guided by the talented instructor Valèria. This workshop consists of 1 hour and 30 minutes of Afro-Brazilian dance followed by 1 hour and 30 minutes of Rio samba, offering a fantastic cultural mix. Reservations can be made at 06 03 74 22 61, with fees of 30 euros or 25 euros for MJC members.
Wellness and fitness workshops #
On Thursday, February 20, there will also be plenty of opportunities with two highly anticipated workshops: Pilates and piloxing K.O. On one hand, Justine will lead a workshop on Pilates, Foam roller, and Magic circle from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, allowing participants to improve their core strength and flexibility. Reservations are available at 06 08 23 68 91, at a fee of 15 euros or 10 euros for MJC members.
Then, from 8 PM to 9 PM, the same day will host a workshop on piloxing and pound, for those seeking intensity. Justine and Marina will ensure an energetic session where sweating will be on the agenda, with the same reservation modalities and fees as previously mentioned.
Melodies and harmonies on stage #
Music lovers will be pleased with the guitar and singing workshop, scheduled for Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22. This interdisciplinary workshop brings singers and musicians together, allowing them to explore joint workshops during the first day, from 5 PM to 7 PM. The next day, everyone will gather to perform iconic pieces such as “Can’t help falling in love with you” by Elvis Presley and “The sound of silence” by Simon and Garfunkel. Reservations can be made at the MJC, at a fee of 55 euros for both days, or 50 euros for members.
An introduction to the pleasure of theater #
Young budding artists will not be left out with the theater discovery workshop, led by Gaëlle on Monday, February 24 and Tuesday, February 25. This entertaining activity will allow participants to approach theater from a playful perspective, through games, mime, and improvisations. Children of all ages, whether beginners or more experienced, are welcome. The schedules are tailored for different groups: awakening for 4-6 years old, juniors for 7-11 years old, and special workshops for teenagers. Reservations are made at the MJC, with fees varying according to the age of the participants.
