THE Betharram caves, located in the heart of Pyrenees, offer a unique experience of this type. Their discovery dates back to 1819 and they have been open to the public since 1903. Since then, they have fascinated young and old with their incredible formations and their fascinating history.

You will be amazed by a 2.8 kilometer route which takes place by little train, by boat and on foot. Throughout this adventure, your eyes will feast on spectacular concretions, crystal clear lakes and underground rivers, creating a magical world beneath the surface.

- All tours are guided and last approximately 1 hour 20 minutes, with tickets purchased on site on the day of the visit.
Hours of operation :
- In July-August: open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with last entry at 5:15 p.m.
- In mid-season: open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
