Giffords Circus is celebrating its quarter of a century with an unprecedented and flamboyant show: Laguna Bay, which will tour the Cotswolds and southern England from April 17 to September 28, 2025. This new production promises a sparkling mix of magic, acrobatics, and gastronomy, offering spectators an immersive, warm, and totally unforgettable experience under the famous 600-seat tent that contributes to the legend of the most glamorous circus in the UK.
A mythical circus, a grand new adventure
For 25 years, Giffords Circus has been enchanting the imaginations of over a million spectators. Gone are the outdated notions of the traditional circus! Here, vintage spirit meets overflowing creativity, all in a universe where humor mingles with poetry and boldness. The 2025 edition promises to be explosive: Laguna Bay invites you to dive into mysterious waters, populated by fabulous creatures led by a troupe of actors, clowns, acrobats, magicians, musicians, poets, and artists sailing together towards new enchanting horizons.
On the road to the most beautiful settings in England
Starting April 17, the show will kick off its grand ball at Fennells Farm, the home of Giffords Circus in Stroud. Then the troupe will sail to the most beautiful sites in southern England and the Cotswolds: they will be found, for example, at Bowood House & Gardens (Wiltshire), Sudeley Castle & Gardens (Gloucestershire), Blenheim Palace (Oxfordshire), Chiswick House & Gardens (London), and also in the preserved nature of Evenley Wood Garden (Northamptonshire). At each stop, it’s the promise of a picturesque backdrop amplifying the magic of the show!
When the show meets great cuisine
The Giffords experience is also a delight for the taste buds thanks to the famous Circus Sauce, a traveling restaurant praised by critics. On a selection of evenings, after the final performance, gourmets will gather around a three-course banquet, crafted by creative chefs using local and seasonal produce (reservation required). For those who prefer to snack at any time, the Circus Sauce Café and Diner wagons will ensure the festivities: smash burgers, halloumi burgers, revamped hot dogs, crispy fries, and vegetarian or vegan alternatives will be on the menu, all accompanied by a fine selection of beverages, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, sourced from the region.

The fame of Giffords Circus goes well beyond the boundaries of live performance. Photographs of the circus have graced the pages of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, the artists have inspired luxury fashion campaigns, and its sets have been exhibited at the prestigious V&A Museum in London. The circus has even graced the stage of the Royal Albert Hall for the Royal Variety Performance, and in 2024, it appeared in the BBC miniseries about Enid Blyton’s Famous Five.
