IN BRIEF
|
The autumn holidays in Garchizy were a great success this year, offering young people and their families a multitude of fun and enriching activities. Thanks to well-established organization and captivating themes, the community was able to gather children around enjoyable experiences that marked this time of year. A recap of these memorable holidays filled with discoveries.
Well-supervised holidays
Thirty-three children were fortunate to participate in the activities offered by the elementary leisure center Les Intrépides, under the direction of Audrey and a dynamic team of leaders such as Aurélie, Ambre, Betty, and Lætitia. Although the number of registrations has slightly decreased compared to previous editions, it remains stable and reflects the sustained interest of families in these supervised holidays.
A varied and engaging program
The themes addressed during this period were rich and varied, encompassing areas such as cooking, sports, and artistic creation around Halloween. The children were able to participate in sports initiations that allowed them to explore disciplines such as badminton, table tennis, archery, and basketball. These activities aimed to promote the discovery of new passions and foster team spirit.
Creative cooking workshops
The cooking workshops were also a true success, allowing young participants to try their hand at baking and prepare delicious cakes every morning for snack time. This type of workshop not only developed their creativity but also their sense of organization and sharing, making them actors in their own culinary creations.
Halloween celebration in festivity
The highlight of the holidays was undoubtedly the day of October 31, marked by the celebration of Halloween. Children were invited to come in costume and participate in a festive parade in the streets of Garchizy. This event delighted young and old alike, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere that brought the community together.
Unforgettable outings
To add even more dynamism to these holidays, two outings were included in the program. The first was to Défi’Land, an amusement park where children could have fun with a huge ball pit and a laser tag course. The second outing, to Panda Resto, allowed children to discover Chinese specialties while learning to eat with chopsticks, a fun and educational experience that delighted their taste buds.
All in all, these autumn holidays in Garchizy managed to blend discovery, fun, and camaraderie, enhancing the appeal of this time of year for families. The diversity of activities as well as the commitment of the animation teams are just some of the elements that contributed to making this event a true success.
