Under the theme “water in celebration,” this educational program highlights the turtle Sami, a symbol of environmental protection. From December 23 to January 3, a wide range of activities will mainly take place at Nelson-Mandela School in the Courbet neighborhood, promising to create memorable memories for the children.
First week of activities
The first week will begin with various activities for children aged 3 to 11. On Monday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 24, the young ones will participate in a cozy atmosphere with walks, festive decorations, and playful courses. Dance and cooking will also be on the agenda to encourage creativity and sharing.
On Thursday, December 26, children aged 6 to 11 will have the chance to enjoy a full day with the leisure centers of Saint-Paul-de-Jarrat and Verniolle. This day promises to be rich in exchanges and laughter.

Second week focused on creativity
The program continues with a second week just as captivating. It is important to note that the Foix center will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, but activities will resume on Monday, December 30. That afternoon, children aged 6 to 11 will visit the Ehpad de Bélissen for a festive moment awaited by the residents. This visit will not hesitate to break the barriers between generations.
On Tuesday, December 31, a morning show will be held at the “Relais de Poche” in Verniolle, in partnership with the ALSH of the municipality, promising a moment full of energy and good cheer.
Finally, Friday, January 3, 2025 will mark the closing day of the holidays. Children aged 3 to 5 will participate in a festive lottery in the morning, while the afternoon will be dedicated to a lottery via video conference with the leisure centers of Saint-Paul-de-Jarrat and Verniolle, bringing a modern touch to these traditional activities.
Varied activities for all tastes
This second week will be a golden opportunity for children to try out various activities such as creating greeting cards, dancing, cycling, singing, as well as numerous games and cooking workshops. These activities will encourage personal expression and allow children to explore their creativity in a warm and festive atmosphere.
A dedicated team to supervise the young
The children will be taken care of by a competent and passionate team, led by Pascale and Mickael. The activities will be organized by professionals such as Anne-Sophie, Delphine, Housna, Perrine, Stéphanie, Ali, Joé, Roland, Simon, and Sofian. Their expertise will ensure an enriching and safe experience for all participants.
